Memorex Energy+ Batteries - Size AAA - High-Power Alkaline type - 4 Pack

Alkaline batteries are much longer lasting than zinc-chloride/zinc-carbon ones (those are cheap, but they're also old-fashioned and very low-powered by today's standards). Alkaline batteries are a great choice for battery torches and the like.

These are Memorex-brand alkalines, and they're are fantastic value for the price. They are ideally suited to everyday devices that need a relatively high-power, high-capacity battery at a decent price.

These are Size "AAA" batteries- the smaller of the two "tall and thin" battery sizes.

Please note: Although alkaline cells will work in digital cameras that take ordinary AAA batteries, we would recommend use-once Lithium, rechargable NiCd or rechargable NiMH batteries instead. This is because those types are better suited to the power-needs of cameras. Alkaline batteries may "run out" quicker when used in digital cameras, even though they still have enough power left to be used in other devices.
